The 6th annual conference of the Baltic Economic Association is jointly hosted by the Eesti Pank, Tallinn University of Technology, and the Estonian Business School. It will take place on June 27-28, 2024.

Keynote speaker: Gianmarco I.P. Ottaviano (Bocconi University)

Important dates:

• March 15: deadline for submissions

• April 26: decisions on submissions

• May 6: registration deadline

Award for the best paper presented by a PhD student 

The BEA prize, amounting to EUR 500, is awarded to the best paper presented by a PhD student. The candidates for the award are not limited to the Baltic region (neither in terms of institution nor nationality). The following rules apply:

• The paper is presented at the conference;

• All authors of the paper are doctoral students or researchers having defended their thesis in 2024 (if more than one author, the amount will be split between the co-authors). 

If you fulfill the criteria and wish to be considered for the award, please indicate so when submitting your paper for the conference.
